Key Highlights of ICV Certification:
- Separate ICV certificates are required for each legal entity unless they are branches of the same company in the same Emirate with similar activities and ownership.
- Financial statements must comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and be less than two years old.
- Newly established companies (under 9 months) can use Management Accounts instead of audited financial statements for ICV calculations.
- The ICV certificate is valid for 14 months from the date of the audited financial statements.
- Suppliers must appoint an empanelled certifying body and cannot switch certifiers without justification.
- Manufacturers with an industrial license are categorized as Goods Manufacturers, while others fall under Service Providers.
